Roots in search of land.

I have lived mostly in Italy, moving between some of the most beautiful regions of this country.
I was born in Sicily, then Sardinia, grew up in Apulia in Salento, in Milan for very long years. I lived in Germany and now I am in Tuscany.

The link with the land is an ongoing quest that is taking shape through clay and resurfacing old pieces of my previous lives in places where the craft tradition is particularly strong.

Working in digital, I felt the need to interrupt the harmful dynamics that were distancing me from people and from life itself.

Childhood memories resurface, playing on the floor, getting our hands dirty and creating.

AND so?

Something is born with little, blades of grass, a clod of earth, so different in every place, branches and leaves become jewellery or houses.

This dimension always calls to me, it is like an echo from a room that I have temporarily closed, but which is there waiting for me.

I deeply believe that matter can be a solution to ground us again and recreate the foundation and balance we need. This is the path.
